Photo-a-Day! Afternoon swim!
Another peek at the grizzly we hung out with in the Tetons this past weekend. It was an amazing experience to witness such an incredible animal...especially to watch him swim in the frozen waters and then hang out here, right in front of where I was standing, trying to get up! I was cheering him on, silently! He looked so small and helpless hanging there on the ice...until he got up...! ...more pictures to come!

Kayaking weekend!
If you love the outdoors and enjoy the peace and tranquility found on calm waters...have I got the place for you! We got to spend the weekend kayaking at a couple of our favorite spots in the Grand Teton National Park. It's a really nice way to get up close (sometimes uncomfortably and unexpectedly close!) to the wild things that call the park home!
Me, in my sweet new kayak! And Mike, in his!

Mike Ryan Photography
My husband, Mike, is a fabulous photographer. He prefers to photograph non-human things, like critters and landscapes! You can see more of his work at http://www.mikeryanphoto.com/.
