Oh, okay...my oldest daughter, Ashley, and her boyfriend, Byron, came with us...complete with a sweet tie-dye shirt he made just for the occasion! Aren't they cute! Oh, and that's me...and my hubby, Mike!

Grand Targhee Music Festival!

So, it was a great weekend in the mountains! If you've never been, or never heard of it...Grand Targhee Resort hosts a couple of music festivals during the summer that really should make it to your to-do list...that is, if you like great music, yummy food, being outdoors and being surrounded by tons of people enjoying the same! We especially enjoyed Keb Mo', the Wallflowers, Lukas Nelson, Bettye Lavette...and so many others! Here are just a few images from the weekend festivities, including a view from the top (the chair lift is definitely worth a ride, just for the view!). I love Sunday afternoons, or any chance I get to just meander a bit, camera in hand, in search of great light...different perspectives...something which makes me feel very small, or enormous... Thus was this past Sunday...just a bit of wandering...

While hiking in the Caribou-Targhee National Forest we came upon this almost painterly scene...

"Kitty"

Her name is actually Indie...my husband says it should be Marley as she acts more like a mischievous puppy than a kitten...but mostly we all call her "Kitty".

We had so much fun in this downtown location! She is a bundle of energy...and a real sweetie...oh, and like most girls, loved getting her picture taken!

I couldn't imagine a more perfect little baby girl, except for maybe my own...! Isn't she sweet!
