Kayaking weekend...continued...

...and some other pretty things in the park...

My creative work is available in prints, fine art cards and on canvas. Call or send me an email to inquire about sizes and pricing. This Fall I will officially launch a gallery on my Heart & Soul Images website which will feature my landscape, wildlife and macro photography!

Kayaking weekend!

If you love the outdoors and enjoy the peace and tranquility found on calm waters...have I got the place for you! We got to spend the weekend kayaking at a couple of our favorite spots in the Grand Teton National Park. It's a really nice way to get up close (sometimes uncomfortably and unexpectedly close!) to the wild things that call the park home!

Me, in my sweet new kayak! And Mike, in his!

A beaver, who let us hang out and watch him, quite closely, for quite awhile.

A mama moose keeping cool with her feet in the water...(we know she was a mama 'cause the baby was hiding out in the willows)... And a Great Blue Heron!

Just a few fun images from my week with the girls!

This fishing boat was beached in Newport after having missed the channel, apparently. It was a very foggy day at the beach!
Nevertheless, I insisted on a quick trip over from Corvallis, so I could put my feet in the Oregon shores...I love it!

We have a tradition of writing people's names in the sand...people we miss...this time it was Aunt Connie and Bob! They are land lovers in Michigan and I wished we saw them more...! Love you!

Allison...happy!

After the visit in Oregon, the girls and I headed to Spokane, WA to celebrate an upcoming wedding! We have a great family...and it was so much fun to hang out with them for the weekend!

What a sweet guy!

I fell in love today...again! This guy is the sweetest thing...all boy, with his bumps and scrapes...and oh, so cute!

Yellowstone!

What I did on my summer vacation.... YELLOWSTONE!

...with some of my favorite people!

Beautiful Lamar Valley...
...and my kind of traffic jam!

This is the way Mike shoots bears! We weren't sure that this fisherman knew of his companion!
My hero!
